9. Relaxing habit

One of the things that is relaxing to me is writing. I almost pursued a career in creative writing, and even wrote a fiction book a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

I have a horror story collection that I never published. I also have a longer novel that collects dust on my computer. I’ve been toying around with the idea of polishing them up and publishing, but the point here is—I love to write.

I love to write so much that I was actually a freelance writer/editor for a long time, and even wrote articles that are still probably floating around the internet somewhere.

I am not a perfect writer. I can usually spot when something is misspelled, or done incorrectly, but mistakes happen. I just enjoy the process. I don’t write as much as I used to, and I don’t do the freelance thing as much, but I am loving the social media marketing and coming up with advertisement. It’s short, simple, and creative—and guess what? That’s what I specialized in: short stories.

What relaxes you? Do you pursue it enough to feel refreshed when you finish?

By the way, I have also done resumes in the past as well. If you want me to consult on a project with you (like a resume, content writing, story, article, etc.), feel free to subscribe to my blog, then comment on this post, and we might be able to work something out.
