I used to write poetry a lot back in the day. Nothing fancy, just mostly getting feelings and frustrations out on paper. Then life happened and I halted poetry writing for many many years. I rediscovered that poetry earlier this year and decided to pick it up again, but this time with a more light-hearted message. My cats have given me so many laughs over the years, and I also collected funny stories from other cat owners. Some poems in this collection are cat specific, while others are a random conglomeration of memories and imagination.
